When visiting a construction site, be honest with site agents as to whether or not you have an agent already. You’ll not be denied a showing just because you are to have an agent already. Many of the site agents do not represent the builder but are there in the hopes of meeting new buyer clients. This is not always the case so be sure to verify who the site agent is working for when you arrive on the property. Once an agent begins to perform tasks such as property searches, contract explanations or additional real estate information retrieval. there is going to be an assumption they are working for you. Consequently it is only ethical to be straightforward concerning your current status regarding your representation. Just remember how it makes you feel to be working hard for someone only to find out the compensation is going to be given to someone else. Being ethical is not just a responsibility of the agents, but the consumers as well!
