Snohomish county cities keep on growing!

Marysville to expand It looks like the path is clear for Marysville to expand its borders and become the second largest city in Snohomish county.  The city and county got together Monday and approved a plan that would increase the population of Marysville by almost 20,000 people.

The prime reason for this is a tax incentive from the State that runs out in 2010.  Many cities in the county are scrambling to expand their borders, particularly Lynnwood and Mill Creek which are squabbling over the land that is wedged in between them.
